Heyy everybody!
haha it's DEFINITELY been forever since I've updated this little thing.  I was too lazy to put a new layout up so I just changed the song... hope you like it!
So there hasn't been that many things that have happened since I last updated, life has basically been filled with staying after for SOL & Finally Exam review, Orchestra Rehearsal & staying up late doing last quarter projects and papers and all that fun stuff.  It's amazing that school is almost over, & I have never been so ready for summer to come!  Well enough talking, here are some pictures from the very few events that have happened.

WEDNESDAY MAY 17, 2006
Reston Art Show with the Orchestra Nerds! <3 Haha yeah it was a good time, we played for like 2 hours and ate food, yup it was good stuff... PICTURES!

SATURDAY MAY 20, 2006
DC Care Day with Vicki, Christina, and Edi. Yeah the day was a fun, tiring, and eventful! Haha so first I woke up at like 6:30 A.M and got ready then went to Vicki's house.  Then after that her grandpa took us to Chantilly, then to Simon Elementary in DC.  We got there ate and painted for like 5 hours.  After that Christina's dad came and took us to the Holocaust Museum.  We stayed there for a little then went on the long quest for the Spy Museum.  It took us forever to find it, and I was in desperate need for Starbucks! Haha we finally found one and stopped by, then Edi and Vicki went to the museum while me and Christina went around "shopping" even though the stores sucked.  After that we walked all the way back to "the pencil" and went to the WWII Memorial where we took shadow pictures for awhile.  Then we went back and photo whored in the grass.  After, we walked to the Subway and rode home.  Yeah the pictures I'm not gonna lie came out amazing, so ENJOY!

So this weekend was spent in NEW YORK CiTY for orchestra, and I had a pretty amazing time.  I had more fun then I thought I would, and yea lol one word that can describe what happened is CHYEAHHH haha good times good times <3 Thanks to my cool group for making it so much fun! LOVE you guys!

THURSDAY MARCH 30, 2006
Leaving for New York, we left at around 9:00, then we took a rest stop for lunch.  After that we went on our way to New Jersey where our hotel was.  We finally arrived and we brought all our stuff to our rooms.  After that we changed for dinner at Mars 212.  After dinner we went to The Phantom of the Opera show on Broadway.  Then after the show we went back to the hotel and me and the girls hung out until like 4:00.

FRiDAY MARCH 31, 2006
Breakfast at 8:00 then chill time in our room, we watch White Noise, then prepared for playing time! Got ready, watched the other orchestra, and Chantilly Concert Band.  After that we went to warm up and then we played! After that got ready to go out.  Went to the Empire State Building.  Then went to eat at some Barbeque Grill place.  After dinner was the New York Philharmonic show, the people were amazing good but it was boring... half of us fell asleep, and I spent most of the time laughing at the crazy Viola player and examining in full detail the little magazine they gave us.  After that we went back to the room and curfew was extended so we chilled in our room again.  Then me and the girls stayed up till like 5:00 doing some April Fools planning ;D and having a camp out on the floor, haha gotta love them <3

SATURDAY APRiL 1, 2006
Wake up at like 7:00 and breakfast at 8:00.  April Fool's Prank on the boys = successful and hilarious! Then packing and leaving the beautiful hotel . Loaded bus, and then off to the awards ceremony, where CHANTiLLY ORCHESTRA took home a superior: first place trophy, a solo trophy for Colleen's amazing job, a first violin section trophy, and an overall best Orchestra trophy, we did pretty amazing! Then we went to Ground Zero, which was probably the most depressing thing during the trip.  After was Chinatown! We ended up in the "rich" part of Chinatown so everything pretty much sucked, and we all bought sunglasses and bubble tea.  Then we went to the Intrepid Museum which was pretty cool and funny.  Then off to the Circle Line Boat Tour which was a fun and relaxing 2 hour tour and was a pretty awesome way to end New York!  Then back to the bus, and yea what happens on the bus stays on the bus .  Rest stop for dinner and arrived home at like 11:30.
